Fresh Ingredients
I'll go as far as to say, it's hard to not make something tastey and nutritous if you use fresh ingredients. A salad is
so much better the first day you bring that head of romaine home, then after it's been sitting in the fridge for 5 days. Routine is the key to any successful diet and exercise routine, but if you can do your major grocery shopping once a week, and minor shopping half way through the week for things like your meats and veggies (instead of freezing something for 5 days, and nuking it the day you want to use it), I guarantee your dishes will be tastier!
